WING PARISH COUNCIL ALLOTMENTS.

WELCOME TO WING ALLOTMENTS

Wing allotments border the Preston Road into Wing village; earlier maps show the land to be used as a "mortar pit". Allotment holders occupy full and half plots on this area of made up land; plots are let on an annual basis.

The allotments provide an opportunity for enthusiasts to grow vegetables and flowers in an open environment and to meet like-minded gardeners.

The allotments are managed on a day to day basis by an informal Allotment Club, which has produced guidelines to assist allotment holders.
